Roster of 25 Women from Across the Hoosier State, United States and the World to Unite Under Indy Eleven Banner
INDIANAPOLIS (Monday, April 25, 2022) – In preparation for the upcoming launch of the USL W League – the United Soccer League’s new pre-professional women’s league hitting fields across the nation in just 11 days’ time – Indy Eleven is proud to announce the full roster that will represent Indiana’s Team throughout its inaugural 2022 season.
With today’s roster announcement of 22 new players, Indy’s senior women’s team is up to a total of 25 players for the 2022 campaign. Indy Eleven had previously announced the first three players for their USL W League team back in December 2021, when Katie Soderstrom, Molly McLaughlin, and Kristina Lynch were introduced as the second, third, and fourth players to commit to playing in the USL W League
“This is truly a roster that represents the world’s game and Indiana’s place in it,” said Indy Eleven W League Head Coach Paul Dolinsky. “Having coached most of these players – or having coached against them – in the past, I can attest to the quality they’ll bring on the field and in our community. Because of that, the expectation for these women will be to gel quickly and establish ourselves as one of the league’s premier squads. I cannot wait to get the group together and for them to be energized by our incredible fans and represent Indiana with pride this summer.”
Much like the Indy Eleven men’s USL Championship side, the club’s USL W League roster includes a cross-section of talent from across the Hoosier State, the United States, and overseas, including women from Australia, Spain, and two from Serbia. Fittingly enough, 11 players hail from Indiana, while seven players currently or recently competed collegiately at Butler, Notre Dame, and Purdue.

“Whenever Indy Eleven takes the field in any competition, at any level, the expectation is that we will outwork the opposition, play for each other and our supporters, and represent our crest with pride and character,” said Phil Presser, Indy Eleven Sporting Director, Academy Operations & W League.” If we do those things the wins will follow, and we believe this group of incredibly talented women possess these characteristics and share our commitment to the club. We cannot wait to get started next week and for our fans to support and rally behind these players throughout our inaugural season.”
Indy Eleven is proud to host the W League’s Inaugural Game next Friday, May 6, when it will welcome Cincinnati-area side Kings Hammer FC for a 7:00 p.m. ET kickoff at the Grand Park Events Center in Westfield. Tickets for the historic night of soccer in Central Indiana are now available for $8 and can be secured by visiting indyeleven.com/wleague-tickets. The team’s 12-game Great Lakes Division schedule will see Indy Eleven host five of its six regular season home dates at the Grand Park Events Center through early July before closing the season with a men’s and women’s doubleheader at IUPUI Carroll Stadium on July 9.
The addition of the USL W League squad is part of Indy Eleven Sports and Entertainment’s long-term vision and commitment to community impact and growing the women’s game.
