Sexton completed a successful first season at Louisville with 16 appearances and 13 starts under her belt as a freshman. In her sophomore season, Sexton played in 14 games with 11 starts. She tallied six shots with one shot on goal.
During her prep years, Sexton earned ECNL first-team all-conference and first-team All-America honors in 2021. She was also named to the 2021 Greater Girls Catholic League first team after registering eight goals and five assists as a senior.
