2022: Appeared in six matches… Registered an assist in the 2-1 playoff loss at Minnesota… Helped the club to an undefeated regular season record in its inaugural year, posting a 10-0-2 record.
Cherry, a talented two-sport athlete from Lafayette, signed her National Letter of Intent to play soccer at Louisville. In her first season with the Cardinals, Cherry played and started 14 matches and was second on the team with three goals. In 2023, she competed in all 18 games, starting in 17 of them. As a sophomore, she tallied nine shots and four shots on goal.
Cherry had a stellar career playing both soccer and basketball at Lafayette Central Catholic HS, leading the soccer team to a state championship in 2020. Throughout her four years on varsity, Cherry accumulated 124 goals and 73 assists in 83 appearances. Cherry also plays for Indiana Fire Juniors of the ECNL. Cherry was just as talented of a basketball player as well, scoring over 1,000 points during her career.
