In her first season with IU-Indianapolis (formally IUPUI), Tobin started in all 19 games, earning four assists and taking 32 shots. Out of 32, 12 shots were on goal. The midfielder was named to the Horizon League All-Freshman team.
During her prep years, Tobin became a two-time Illinois State Cup Champion and a USYS National Championship Finalist with her club team Chicago Inter FC. While playing for Victor J. Andrew High School, Tobin was named IHSSCA All-State and SWSC All-Conference after leading her team to an IHSA Regional Title in her senior year. Other accolades Tobin has been named to include the Chicago Tribune/Daily Southtown All-Area First Team and the Chicagoland Soccer All-State Team.
