Otto transferred to Kansas with two years of eligibility remaining after playing for the Ohio State Buckeyes. At OSU, Otto was named Big Ten All-Freshman in 2022. Throughout her two seasons with the Buckeyes, the defender played in 35 games with 18 starts.
During her prep career, Otto competed for Ohio Premier ECNL and was named ECNL First Team All Ohio Valley Conference for three straight seasons. Otto participated in the ECNL Portland National Training Camp in 2019 and was named a member of the ECNL SC National Selection Game Roster.
