INDIANAPOLIS (October 9, 2017) – Indy Eleven is pleased to release full details for the club’s Third Annual “Hispanic Heritage Night” as “Indiana’s Team” battles Miami FC at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, October 14, presented by Indiana Donor Network & Financial Center.
The festivities begin at 1:30 P.M. with authentic performances by the Ballet Folklorico Mosaicos and the Peruvian Association as part of a packed pre-game in the Honda Fun Zone featuring Radio Latina, Exitos, & La Pantera. In addition, a special recognition for retiring Indy Eleven midfielder Gerardo Torrado will take place at midfield prior to kickoff.
“Indy Eleven is proud to continue fostering our relationship with the Hispanic community in Indianapolis,” said Indy Eleven Community Relations Manager, Bianca Velez. “A growing segment of an already massive part of our fanbase, we are thrilled to be able to represent over five different countries this weekend as we celebrate the sport that has brought us together in Indianapolis.”
Indy Eleven will also be honoring the team’s 11 “Campeones de la Comunidad” at halftime. This year’s honorees include:
